<p>WHO: I’ve been teaching yoga since 2010 and have been practicing acupuncture since 2017. I’m passionate about the body’s innate intelligence and it brings me joy to unravel the physical, emotional and energetic signals involved in my patient’s health concerns and pain.</p>

<p>WHAT: Meridian Yoga combines the yoga practices and acupressure points that I’ve found to be the most potent and healing in working with my patients to treat common aches and pains. I’ve specifically chosen points that are more forgiving in terms of exact location so that untrained hands can still find effective areas to work on for relief. The class covers all major body movements and their associated aches and pains over 6 weeks. You will finish the class with a basic understanding of how to self-treat your most common musculo-skeletal complaints with acupressure and gentle stretching. At the start of the series you will receive an acupressure handout I created for your reference during the classes. </p>

<p>HOW: Meridian Yoga works with your body’s natural lines of tension to increase fluidity and dissolve pain. It offers techniques to help you treat motion induced aches and pains, primarily utilizing acupressure and stretching.</p>

<p>WHY: I created this class to help my patients sustain the results they get from regular acupuncture. This class can’t fully replace the acupuncture experience, but I continue to be amazed how much proper attention to specific points and body areas can relieve pain from self-treatment over and over again!  </p>
